My Reflection- Shia Labeouf

Below is my happy and pleased Avatar. I made my Avatar from Shia Labeouf. The male's have a darker skin colour and also darker green eyes. The women of my Avatar have larger eyes.
The problems I had with this avatar was that I had to take away the wrinkles on his head and the tattoo on his arm. I thought I should erase the tattoo as guys that have large tattoo's, you don't exactly look at their faces and see happiness, you get scared of the tattoo and see him almost sinical.
Creating this avatar, I learnt how to mask and add other body parts. As you can see, the ears are added onto the body. I layered the hair over the ears, so it looked as if it were growing out of its head instead of just stuck onto the hair.
Shia's personlity is that he is really shy and conservative. He loves the beach, yet isn't a people person. His personality is shown in the avatar as he has his hair up on his head. He isn't looking directly into the camera rather his head is tilted down and his eyes are looking upwards. His background is him at a beach, and the sun is shining but he is alone. This is showing us his personality through this photo.
The most difficult thing I had trouble with was getting rid of the wrinkles and tattoos.
My learning style is i'm a visual learner. I need to see what i am doing and that is why i enjoy creative media so much as you see what to do on the smart board. Even though i need to do it to learn how to do it, i don't have to best memory so i prefer writing it down, then trying it.
Overall i am pleased with my Avatars, and i am excited to do the videos next term

My reflection-Cameron Diaz

Overall, I am happy with my final Avatars submitted. Below is the first of my Avatars, Cameron Diaz. I have transformed her into an Avatar. Her emotion is sad and worried.
The main problem i had was mostly making extra body parts i added in look like they were from the body, with the same skin colour and everything. The wrinkles on Cameron were not from her body, and as you can see i had difficulty getting the right purple to blend with the rest of the skin. Also the ears were slightly darker on Cameron which made them look less natural. I decieded to add the wrinkles to make her look that more worried, as most worried people have those few wrinkles between their eyebrows. I used the blow up brush to enlargen her cheek bones and nose to give that alien effect. I decided on the colour purple as it just matched both people. You can use the colour purple on sad people, yet also use it for those happy people. Cameron's personality is very confident, yet she worried about people. Even when sad, she looks like the kind, caring person she is. You can tell this is her personality as it's a full view of her face showing her confidence. SHe is looking straight into your eyes, like she is extending a hand out to you. The yellow softens her face, making her seem kind and caring. The large green eyes also add that kind effect to her. As these were brighter colours, instead of all being dull, it really expresses that kind, caring an dconfident personality.

Late reflection

Due to the assignment being due next week, I have been rushing each lesso to get the avatar 100% accurate. Because of this, I didn't paste my reflection last week. To catch you up, I have chosen to do my avatar on Cameron Diaz, and I am hoping to show her having a worried or sad face and a happy and joyeous face. Her skin, with a ting of green in it, is inhumanly and add's the avartar effect to her. So does the large eyes, the ear's on top of her yellow hair also ads to the avatar effect.
Up to today, i have done only my avatar and added the green tint and large eyes.
I have also made this avatar look upset, with the lips pulled downwards and the eyes brows lifted to show her worry. Wrinkles added to the forehead form another person hopefully makes her seem more worried.
Overall i believe this face shows my avatar looking worried. Below is my process

3rd of March lesson

Today, we learnt about our assignment and what to do. The idea's for my avatar is to stick to humanity, but give it a noticable twist.
We also learnt about the changing of skin colour and how to make someone look scared. As you can see to the right, i added a few sutle things to each person to make them more scared. I made the eyebrows on the woman go higher to make her look more worried, added a smile to the man outside and gave him green skin and also added a knife to the picture, to make it that bit scarier
